Middle school is a brave new world for our kids. They'll be introduced to grades, multiple teachers, exciting new subjects and a growing independence. Whether your child is an incoming fifth grader, an almost high schooler, or somewhere in between, the work of the DPM APT will impact their school year.
Check out the Services tab to learn how.
The DPM APT believes that knowledge is power, therefore, we encourage you to attend our insightful monthly meetings. These meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 9am and are a resource of information. You will hear from our principals regarding relevant events and important topics, that will keep you up to date and informed about our school and District.
If you are looking to get involved in committee work, we have opportunities for everyone. We welcome you in any capacity that you are able to volunteer. Whether you lead a committee, pitch in for an event, serve as a room parent or supply a treat for a teacher appreciation meal, every act and donation of time is truly appreciated.
I have 3 kids at DPM : a seventh grader and twin fifth graders. Please reach out if you would like to get involved or with any questions you may have.
It takes a village and we would love if you would be a part of ours.

What's the APT?
We are the Association of Parents & Teachers. Our purpose is to foster cooperative working relationships, promote communication within the school community, and enhance the education and enrichment of our children.
Most families choose to join the APT when they register their kids for school. A $35 per family membership supports the APT at each school and provides the family with online access and a print copy of the APT Student Directory. To see if your family is a member Click Here.
